Interested in establishing a ladybird deed in North Carolina to transfer my real estate property to my children.

Hi jewart,

As far as I know a lady bird deed is legally valid in states like Texas , Florida, Kansas, California and Ohio and I'm not sure if it's recognized by the laws of NC. Thus my suggestion would be that you contact the county recorder's office as they can surely tell you whether it's valid in your state.
