My mom owns 23 acres of land she wants to know in the state of north carolina can she use her land as to cover the cost of gettig a manufactured home on her land with no out of the pocket expense,she can just make the monthly mortgage payment. there are no liens or anything against the property.

Welcome to the forum.

To purchase a manufactured home, your mom can place the land as collateral for the mortgage. But it will be better if puts the land along with the manufactured home as the collateral. In that case, she can avail a greater amount of loan.
