I am filing for chapter 7 in NC. I am including my house in the filing because it is under water. My wifes name and mine are on the deed, I am the only one on the mortgage loan. All other deibts are in my name. Will she have to file as well ?

Welcome RDH,

It is not mandatory for her to file bankruptcy. You can file bankruptcy alone and get a discharge from the dues. If you wish to save the property, you can reaffirm the mortgage and pay off the dues.
