RDH Guest	Posted: Wed Oct 27, 2010 9:29 pm    Post subject: Name on deed. Like 0 Dislike 0 I am filing for chapter 7 in NC. I am including my house in the filing because it is under water. My wifes name and mine are on the deed, I am the only one on the mortgage loan. All other deibts are in my name. Will she have to file as well ?

You can file bankruptcy alone and get a discharge from the dues.
