| My boyfriend is currently 3 months behind in his mortgage payments. He is working however, the company is going through financial difficulties and has not paid him in full for the past 8 months. He doesn't want to lose his house and doesn't know where to turn for help. |

there is a foreclosure prevention program in the state of ohio...call 888-995-4673 for more information.
this is not a lender, but a state-supported program. i hope he will be able to obtain the needed assistance. a firm not providing full pay for its employees is unconscionable.
keep us posted, anet, please. the more you tell us - good or bad - will benefit others. _________________ George M. Akerley

Hello Anet,
It is important to contact the lender immediately as your boyfriend is already 3 months behind the regular payments. The lender might foreclose on the property any time.
He should talk to the lender about a mortgage modification or a forbearance in order to avoid foreclosure. There are a few other loss-mitigation options to avoid foreclosure here at http://www.mortgagefit.com/loss-mitigation.html and you may have a look at them. |
