Please help if you can....

I have a property in Ohio that I was purchasing on Lease to Own type of deal. I paid the owners Money to have the property deed transfered into my name top make it easier to purchse.

I just recieved a letter from a bank telling me they now own my property and that someone I have never heard of defaulted adn signed over the rights to the property to them.

The records office just shows my name on the deed, no bank or any other name on it.

I talked to the bank and they are telling me that to buy the home I need to pony up quite a bit more than what I should owe.

What should I do?

Hi iusir,

It is quite surprising that someone else has their name on the mortgage docs while you have a lease to purchase agreement with someone else. I would suggest you to contact an attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He may be able to help you to take proper legal steps.
