My name is on the deed for some property in Lake county,Ohio. I am not on the mortgage, can I just sign a quit claim deed and remove my name from the deed and be totaly free of this property?

Welcome cheryl,

You can sign a quitclaim deed and remove your name from the property deed in order to get rid of any responsibility toward the house.
