How do you get an application for a lost mobile home title? PLEASE HELP US IN ANY WAY YOU CAN!

Like 0 Dislike 0 My boyfriend was married before we had gotten together, In his past marriage he bought a Oakwood Mobile Home off an indivual and paid with cash. But the indivual title jumped so my boyfriend never got the title switched over in his name BUT him and his XWife signed the title so Oakwood Mobile Home is on the title. But the problem with that is Oakwood Mobile Homes got bought out by i believe its Clayton Homes Inc.. But when they got a devorce the judge court ordered them to sell the trailer and split the money but now his XWife is saying she lost the title and also lost most of the paper work to go along with it.. and we also live in West Virginia but the trailer is located in Ohio so Where do we need to go to be able to get this done?? and what all would we need to take with us??? (PLEASE HELP US OUT WE HAVE NO CLUE WHERE TO EVEN START!!)

When your boyfriend purchased the home the title wasn't in his name. But later on, both his name and his ex's name were added to the title. Am I correct? Well, in that case if the title has been lost, your boyfriend can contact the local Department of Motor Vehicle's office in Ohio and get a new title issued in their names. In case, you think his ex is trying to avoid selling the property, he can move to court and force her to sell the home as the court had ordered them to do so.
