I live in Oregon. After foreclosure, if my home is sold for less than owed, do I owe the difference?

After your property is foreclosed upon, the lender has the rights to sue you for the deficient balance resulting from the sale of the property. You will owe the difference to the lender. If you're unable to pay the difference, then the lender can place a lien on your other properties. The lender may even garnish your wages.
