A YOUNG LADY NAME JESSICCA CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT I WAS APPROVED FOR 200.00 (A PAYDAY LOAN) AND IT WOULD BE DEPOSITED INTO MY ACCOUNT ON TODAY AND THAT SHE WOULD EMAIL MY LOAN DOCUMENTS FOR MY RECORD. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANYTHING AND THE MONEY IS NOT THERE.

Did you request the loan? I hope not. Did you know that the return rate of interest when you repay a PAYDAY loan can be as high as 600%? There are several alternatives to this type of loan if you find yourself temporarily short.

It is down right ridiculous the rate that they charge, should be against the law, there should be some type of regulation on what they can charge.

Did you request It? Did you give them your bank details. As other posters have allready pointed out most payday loan companies are crooks. Play it safe in future and look at other options!

I would be very careful if you decide to use one of these loans. If you do decide that this is something that you need to do, then do try to pay it off on the following payday.

Hopefully you can get it all straightened out before you need to borrow the money. Goodluck, hopefully you can.

I have a question that maybe someone here can answer, I was wondering what type of legal action can a payday loan company take for collection? can they report to collection company, or can they sue? I live in southern california. please someone let me know!

Hello jnmteal.

If you owe money to the payday loan company and defaulted on it then they can sell it to collection agency or even sue you. So better pay the due amount on the payday and I would better suggest stay away from them. By the way they cannot threat you over phone. It is against law.

Let me know if you have any more queries.

Sometimes it happens that, you have to meet some emergency needs but at the same time you are facing severe financial crunch. To overcome such situation, you have to rely on external financial support. For such emergency needs, you can rely on cheap emergency payday loans. Upon applying for these loans, you get access to instant cash, which in turn enables you to fix the needs that cannot be put on hold until your next payday arrives.
