But then, I had to go for a deed in lieu of foreclosure in 2009. Now I have a credit score of 650 and equity in my present home. Will I be able to get a second mortgage? However, getting a mortgage will also depend upon your income and your credit scores. So, if you fulfill these two requirements of the lenders, you will be able to qualify for the second mortgage.
