hey guys,
I got alot of help from this board when I was getting my mortgage and I'm now building a home.

now I have a off-topic question, about home improvement deductions, I know that things like upgraded fixtures, adding french doors, and landscaping can be deducted as home improvements on your tax return, but what else can be? what about new furniture? paint? anything else?

I agree with adonis, new furniture cannot be considered as home improvement.
