I own a moblie home that is in a park. It is payed off and I own it free and clear. The problem is that I can no longer work and cant afford to pay the lot rent any more. I dont live there and it is completely empty and needs alot of work. So it is basically not worth any thing. What can or should I do? And what will happen if I dont pay the lot rent?

If you don't pay the lot rent, it will depend on the lease you have and how the leaseholder pursues it.

If it's not worth anything, have you thought about giving it away? or selling it for $1. Put a sign up in the complex and post an ad on Craigslist. What a bout a charity? You might be able to donate it and get a tax write off.

Hi ADELA

You can contact the landlord and speak to him/her about your situation. In the meantime try searching for job (I understand it's difficult but at least try for a part time job!). If the lender does not understand your situation, then he can evict you.

Thanks
