Is it better to consolidate debt through a home equity loan or a refi with cash out?

-Good credit is easy to achieve, as long as you use it responsibly.

yes it is true that until and unless all the numbers are given it will be difficult to gauge the real effect of either of those two products. but still in my opinion home equity loan will always be on the better side.

manoj, we actually prefer when you are NOT logged in...especially when giving advice that does not make sense.

A home equity loan is NOT ALWAYS the better option.

I agree.

Unless we know the real numbers, it is hard to suggest just based on a simple question.
