HELP....I'm getting no where with my Lender in seeking help with my mortgage. My income changed 2 yrs. ago at my job, when it changed I called & informed my Lender of this. During this time I've sough help through Save the Dream in which I received help of $2500, however that didn't take care of the whole balance I was default on, I called my Lender & asked if anyway possible the remaining default amount could be added to the end of my loan or if I could get modification. My Lender told me modification would not decrease my monthly payment, and I've found out that not to be true because that's the purpose of modification. What is one suppose to do in not losing their home when their Lender just isn't helping. I've gone back & forth for almost 2 yrs trying to get some help and getting no one....HELP...HELP

Yes the lodification can some tiem lower your monthly payment

Most of the lender do this by lowering the interest rate and increasing the loan term
