My mother passed away and gave my brother and I 50/50 everything she owes 103 thousand on her home and wanted to leave it to her only grandchild whos 23 but didnt get it in the will. is it possible for us to quitclaim the house to him? we are in oregon state and the will is in probate now. thankyou Rene'

i lack the legal expertise to tell you precisely what you can do, but i think you'll have to wait until you're done with probate to do anything. and then, i think, your solution would make sense - to quit claim to him. check with the court itself for more specific information, and it's always a good idea to have a lawyer on hand for this type of question, too.
