My husband bought a house after we were married in his name only. I am not on it. We are now divorcing and he is trying to get me to pay for it somehow in final decree although he is living there. Can he do this?

to answer your question specifically, yes he can try. can he have success? it would appear not. what is it he's trying to get you to pay? the entire mortgage...a percentage of it...a lump sum for him to leave?

no matter what he's asking for, the court will have to make that judgment.
