My name is Josh Wood and I represent a company called Foundationplus. We work closely with consumers who are seeking to get an FHA or VA loan to purchase or refinance a manufactured home. We’ve also worked with many reverse mortgage applicants.

As you probably know by now, FHA requires an engineering certificate stating the home is on a permanent foundation per the HUD guidelines in order to receive FHA financing.

That’s where we come in. If the foundation is non-compliant, Foundationplus has a system that can be added to the existing foundation and meets all guidelines set forth by HUD. An engineer certificate is provided upon completion of the job at no additional charge. This alleviates the expense and time of having the engineer go out a second time to re-inspect the foundation.

I think we all agree that everyone could use a little less stress in these hard times. One phone call to Foundationplus could make things run a little smoother at the closing table.

If you’ve gotten to the end of this, thank you so much for your valuable time! I look forward to possibly working with you and your manufactured home consumers in the future.
