We are about to buy a co-op, but my brother and I are trying to decide whose name to put it under. My mother, who will actually be living there, is one option, but she will turning 62. We are concerned with her losing or changing her eligibility for social security/Medicare/something else. Is this is a valid concern?

You may need to check with CMS for anythign related to Medicare or Medicaid

I do nto think there is any effect on the social security
