I could barely afford it and would like to get rid of my name from it/give up my ownership of the house. We tried selling it several times but no luck whatsoever with the economy we're having. What do I need to do? Thank you.

That does nto relase you fromthe loan So ask your partner to refiaicne the loan inhis/her name and later you cna give quit claim deed So you will be free from that property
