I signed a quick claim deed because I was unemployed, so my husband could qualify for the mortgage, we have lived together at the residence since purchase, I have been paying all utilities,gorceries etc. Do I have a claim in the equity?

if by quit claiming to your husband you have relinquished your ownership, then that's that - you've relinquished your ownership and rights to the property.

you'd be wise to make arrangements to retake possession of your ownership with another quit claim from your husband to himself and you jointly. were he to transfer all of his ownership rights, the mortgage in question would be due and payable in full.
