How do I get out of my Timeshare that is paid in full?

Like 0 Dislike 0 I own a timeshare that is paid in full. We dont use it and are tired of paying the yearly fees. How do we get it out of our name. I dont even want money for it. Tried listing it with a timeshares sales place with no luck after being listed for months.
