If I was willed a house from my father and the deed is in my name but not the mortage, would deed in lieu affect my credit?

My 3 sisters and I were left our father's house in his will. The mortgage is more than market value and the house is in bad repair. If the deed is in our names, but NOT the mortgage (it is for the estate of my father currently), would it affect our credit to do deed in lieu?

It shoudl nto affect yoru credit, since you are nto on the loan.

and I am no sure even bank will discuss with you abotu deed in lieu, since you are not on the loan
