My husband died and we are both listed as borrowers for our mortgage loan. Do I have to requalify/refinance the loan?

With my husbands death will the mortgage company make me reapply for the loan? We are listed as co-borrowers

No, not as long as the mortgage payments continue to be made on time.

lenders don't monitor the obituaries, and they aren't concerned about who is paying the mortgage, as long as they're continuing to get paid.
