I just send all the info for a loan mod for my first mortgage and contacted the second to see if i could do a laon mod as well, but they told me that since this was a second home a didn't qualified for a modification, is this true? The balance is 38,000 with chase if I can't do a loan mod, i'm wondering if they will do a refinance with a lower APR to lower my balance or just not pay it. what should I do? thanks

You can do a loan modification on a 2nd home.
