are there any programs ,besides chapter 13,to eliminate 2nd mortgage since there is no value in my home?if not, can my wife transfer the deed to me and then I file chapter 13 so that her credit does not get affected?
Also, America Servicing corporation and indymac are hard to work with, are there any government agency that can take over since these companies are giving me the run arround?

Unfortunately transfering the deed to you, does not help her credit. She would still be on the loan unless you were able to refinance her off of it.

Chapter 13 is an option to consider greatly.

ASC & Indy Mac are hard to deal with. If you want to try to stick it out and get the modification, i would try that too. It taks about 90 days, and you should call the servicer to check on your application once a week, they will not call you.
