I bought a home in Maryland with my boyfriend. I am not on the mortgage loan but my name is on the "deed of trust". I pulled my credit report and the mortgage loan is not listed. The home may go to forclosure. Can the bank hold me responsible if he defaults? If I do a "quick claim deed" transfer to relinquish my interest in the property, will that remove my name from the "deed of trust"?

You are totally right just sign the deed the house back to him and you're out of the picture.
