| My credit is in a state of " rebuild " from bad credit several years ago . Most everything has been resolved and most bad marks are now gone . I am due to recieve funds from an estate that is being settled and should be able to put down at least a 50 % amount on the properties we have been looking at . I am self emloyed and cannot get employment verification . What type of financing should I be looking at and does this eliminate me from looking at any specific types of homes ( short sale , foreclosure , bank owned etc ) ?? |

if you have a high enough credit score, you might qualify for a stated income loan - available for self employed borrowers.
i don't know that you'd be precluded from shopping for a particular type or type of home, though. _________________ George M. Akerley
