I am looking into a modification with Relief Strategies, however I am uncomfortable with $2150.00 charge. they are willing to break up the pymnts to 850.00 up front with the bal. broken down into 4mns. Does anyone have any experience with this co. I am not behind on my mtg. but our income has been reduced and our expenses have increased. We were temporarily approved by our mtg. co. for a 300.00 mn reduction but now the mtg. co. never got the paper work to me to be able to continue at the reduced amount. Please advise, I can't afford a scam.

if you were working with the lender and they simply didn't get you the paperwork yet, why did you now decide to work through somebody you never heard of before? i honestly don't understand that mindset.

contact your lender and see what the hangup with paperwork is.

if you pay this "strategic" company upfront, what is the motivation for them to work on your behalf thereafter? will they simply bleed more money from you later?

forgive me...i am 100% skeptical about these companies that have sprung up like weeds all across america.
