I'm in the process for a loan modification and don't know if or when i'm going to qualify. I have some savings it's not alot but I'm afraid that the bank might check on that. should i just withdrawal my savings or is it safe there? thanks

If you can't pay your mortgage and you have money in a savings or anywhere else your lender is not going to grant you a modification.

When you go for a modification your bank is going to ask you for updated paperwork during your modification process. When did you start your modification?

they didn't ask for bank statements and it's been a month since i started the process and they haven't ask for them yet.
