My boyfriend was married before we had gotten together well he bought a trailer from oakwood mobile homes and when they got a divorce it was court orded for them to sell the trailer and to split the money. Shes now saying that she lost the title to the trailer and they never got the title in their names its in Oakwood Mobile Homes. How do we get the title to the trailer?? PLEASE help us out we have no clue where to even start!!! and we live in West Virginia and the trail is in Ohio

You should start by going to the county records wherever the home is registered. This happens a lot and it should be recorded from when they purchased the home. Is there a loan on the property?

no it was paid for in cash to an indivual that title jumped so the trailer is in Oakwood Mobile Homes name. We live in West Virginia and the trailer is located in Ohio. Where do we go to get the county records and what all would we have to bring??
