My husband lives in Mexico and I live in the united states how do i go about filing do i get a uncontested divoce and just send him papers or if i tried to get him to sign and affidavit and fax it to me and he refused do i file contested divorce help i dont know what to do without having to pay for a lawyer they charge to much

Hi traviesa,

It would be better if you could consult a divorce attorney in this regard as both of you live in different places. This would be a better option rather than trying to file the divorce papers alone. The attorney will be able to guide you in a proper way in this regard.
