Hi davidw!

Welcome to forums!

USFP, LLC may be into the mortgage reduction business. However, I won't be able to let you know whether or not they are a legitimate company. It is better to contact your own lender and take help to pay off your mortgage rather than going for a third party.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

First to Sussane.....I have to disagree with you! I tried for the almost a year working DIRECTLY with my lender on a loan modification and any other option they have to lower my payments or even reduce my balance since I'm upside down but only to end up almost being foreclosed upon.

Now to you David....I was solicited by one of USFP's agent about RESPA violations and luckily I listened and hired them. I recently got great news that the lawyers were able to get a FULL Reconveyance!!! I now own my house free and clear!! USFP is a LEGIT company!! Finally the small homeowner gets relief like the big banks have been getting from the gov't.

Yes, they are a legit company. They, however, do NOT do loan modifications or help owners pay off their mortgage. They focus on RESPA violations and curing them which benefits the homeowners in several ways. This is a group of attorneys with a 96% success rate.

Francis, I'm considering doing this... How long was the process? Did you pay upfront?

Francis what was your total debt after they got your re conveyance? Ir is my understanding that most of these companies have a hefty price afterwards. most important what happens if the owner cannot pay?
