Can you get a home loan on a used double wide that comes with 1/2 acre but has no permanent foundation. It was used as an office trailer before. They are asking $43,000 for it. It is at least 10 years old and not sure on the exact dimensions off hand but it is one of the smaller double wides. 3 bed 2 bath

Hi Schmidtb!

Welcome to forums!

As the double wide does not have a permanent foundation, it will be difficult for you to qualify for a mortgage. Nevertheless, you can contact the local lenders and apply for a mortgage in order to check out if they can help you in this regard.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
