I have a contract of deed the seller of the house wants me to move out because her daughter and her husband got a divorce and she can no loner afford her rent so she wants to move her daughter in here. I have an estmate of the work that needs to be done to the foundation and it for 15 grand i have done 75 persent of the work with help from family that does fondations for a living what are my rights to recover any of the money and the labor of fixing this problem if i have any. thank you. jody mills

Jody, you really need to discuss this matter with an attorney to determine what rights you have in this regard. Whatever documentation you have concerning the work you've done (receipts, etc.) will obviously be most beneficial to you. Getting a layperson's opinion on what you can do is in no way sufficient to give you an idea on how to proceed.

Hi Guest,

If you and the seller had signed a contract, then the seller cannot simply ask you to move out of the property. He is bound by the contract and you will be able to stay in the property. Nevertheless, as George has suggested, you should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter.
