Hi....I'm 2 weeks away from closing. My mother signed the gift letter for the amont of $500.00, but decicied after the fact she want to switch banks and withdrawed all her money out of her account. She is willing to deposit the money back into her account until after closing. Will that affect me with proceeding on with the gift from her?

Hi msvalentine!

Welcome to forums!

If your mother deposits the money back to that account, then I don't think there would be any problems. But it is always better to inform the lender about this whole matter in advance.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
