I have a manufactured home and its on my land. However I'd like to move it and put it on my fathers land. My lender won't let me move it and keep my same loan. Is there anyone or lender that would pick up my loan, and let me move it

Hi jimmysrebel,

I don't think any of the lenders will agree to it. Nevertheless, you should speak to the other local lenders and check out what they have to say in this regard.

Thanks
Rhonda

Thank you for replying. There is a reason why I want to move it.

My husband and I lived " where it is " for 15 years, and it's on 1/2 acre of land. Well, last year, June 25th 2010 my husband passed away unexpectedly. My father has 28 acres about 4 miles from where I live, and he wants me to move it, so I can be by my family.

I'd rather sell it......but if I can't, I want to move it. That is why I was asking.

Thanks
Rhonda

Hi Rhonda,

In this situation, it will be better if you could sell off the property rather than moving it to some other place.

Your right.... It would be better to sell, and that's what I'd like to end up doing. Especially since we added a sunroom, double carport, storage room, and a workshop out back. BUT.... if I can't, I may end up having to move it.

Hi Rhonda!

Welcome to forums!

I can understand your situation. Nevertheless, you should contact a good real estate broker and take steps in order to sell off the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
