I have a manufactured home and its on my land. However I'd like to move it and put it on my fathers land. My lender won't let me move it and keep my same loan. Is there anyone or lender that would pick up my loan, and let me move it

Jimmy, the lender holds a mortgage on the entire property, land and home combined. That prevents you from removing the dwelling from the property. Inasmuch as you're able to obtain a loan far easier with a manufactured home on real property than with a typical mobile home, you'll find that other lenders will look at your situation in the same fashion.

Thank you for replying. There is a reason why I want to move it.

My husband and I lived " where it is " for 15 years, and it's on 1/2 acre of land. Well, last year, June 25th 2010 my husband passed away unexpectedly
My father has 28 acres, about 4 miles from where I live, and he wants me to move it so I'll be by my family.

I'd rather sell.....but if I can't, I'll have to move it.

Thanks
Rhonda

I'd think that with 1/2 acre of land, that ought to be a saleable property. At least if you sell, you won't have to deal with the lender's requirements, which won't be fun.
