I received a notice from My Tax Assesors Office that due to my Interest being transferred and a recent appraisal my property value had gone up from 54,000.00 to 90,000.00. I did not know about any of this. How is this possible without major renovations? Should I not be notified if my interest in my property was transferred?

Your interest in a property cannot be transferred without your knowledge. Have you queried with the assessor to determine what it is that they're referring to? From your question posted above, it would seem not. That's the first place I'd go to inquire and obtain the needed information. You can also check with the city/county clerk's office - wherever documents are filed in your locale. They'll assist you in researching the records.
