Joe H Guest	Posted: Sun Oct 09, 2011 4:14 pm    Post subject: Can you walk away from a land contract in Pa? Like 0 Dislike 0 I signed a land contract over two years ago. They sold me the house as is. It was not recorded nor notorized. My question is can i walk away from the house forfeiting the payments as rent as well as the down payment. I have had personel issues and would like to get out of the contract. Also can they sue me for breaking the contract. _________________ Need help choosing the right loan? Nevertheless, you should check out your land contract carefully in order to find out what actions they can take against you. Thanks
