My mortgage was held by EMC/CHase. I couldn't get a loan modification and had not paid on loan in a year. Had 13.5 percent interest for 20 years. I received letter from EMC/CHASE in FEb. of 2011 that loan was turned over to Real Time. I worked out payment arrangement with them. The other day a man was taking pictures of property and told me to contact mortgage lender and number he gave me was chase. I have not heard from them since turned over to real time. When I go on chase website I can pull up account but no info. I e-mailed and asked them about the pictures and they said after a loan is 45 days late they have this option. I explained again that this was turned over to real time and I have paperwork showing everything. How do they still have rights if real time is collecting payments.

Hi clownluv!

Welcome to forums!

If the loan has been transferred to Real Time Solutions, then the lender does not have the rights to collect the mortgage from you or foreclose your property. You should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He will let you know what actions you should take in this regard.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
