Want to assume her mortgage to help her out and relieve her of financial oblivion. If her loan documents mention the fact that loan assumption can be done, then you will be able to assume the loan. You should contact the lender and apply for it. If you have the required credit scores, then I think you will be able to assume the loan. Feel free to ask if you've further queries. Sussane
