Can I cancel the deal after the closing papers were signed?

Posted on: 10th Apr, 2014 04:02 am
I am getting pissed off due the the last min. demand of the broker, he is now asking for the proff of self-employment from me...I had already done signing the closing papers yesterday...but now I am not getting in the mood of continuing it any further with them...can I cancel it anyway?
If it is a refi you have three days to cancel - the paperwork you signed should have directions on how to cancel - if this is a purchase you cannot cancel after signing -

If you cancel any other bank will also want proof of self employment so walking away wont make the issue go away - it is something they should have collected prior to the close -

If you are talking about the initial paperwork then you can walk away at any time
