credit history

i havnt paid my credit card bills since last 2 years and even right now iam not afford to pay those debts so i could i get back my credit history back to normal
You need to plan your expenses so that some of your income can be used for paying those outstanding bills. Your credit score must be very low right now as you are not making the payments. But it will start to gradually improve as all outstanding dues are paid off.

I would suggest you contact a credit counseling agency. They will help you in managing your debts and help regain lost credit profile.

Hi Viki,

Welcome to our forums.

You can request your creditor to provide you with a different payment plan than the one you have initially followed. Also, plan your budget so that you can keep aside maximum sum of money for your credit card bills. Your credit score and hence payment history will go on improving while you continue paying for your bills.

There are other simple ways to improve your credit history. Just refer to our section on How to improve credit score to know more about this issue.

One more thing - you'll find several companies promising to come forward and help you repair your credit history. But instead of going after such companies, it is better to repair credit yourself.

It's difficult but not impossible

Good luck!

Caron.

Viki,

You can also look out for debt consolidation company. You need not take out a debt consolidation loan. But you can make use of their consolidation program.

Through the program, the company will negotiate with your creditors so that they allow you to pay down the dues at a lower rate than which is already offered to you.

Let me tell do not expect any drastic changes to your credit profile immediately you enroll into any program. It will be a gradual process as the payments are in default for so long and your credit score most likely has gone down quite a bit.

You will have to slowly rebuild it all over again.
