Under Housing and Community Facilities Programs (HCFP) of USDA, there are single family housing loans available, which are: Rural Housing Guaranteed Loan Rural Housing Direct Loan Housing Repair & Rehabilitation Loan Housing Repair & Rehabilitation Grant Mutual Self-Help Loans Do let me know if you have any other questions. Rural Housing Guaranteed Loan: It is also called as Section 502 loan and is used to help low income households buy home in rural areas. Funds from the loan can be used for building, repairing or relocating a home. Rural Housing Direct Loan: These loans are directly funded by government, available to low & very low income households. Finance can be obtained up to 100% for home purchase in rural areas. Housing Repair & Rehabilitation Loan: These are also directly funded by government. Loan can be used for repair of the house owned & occupied by the rural resident. It is a 1% loan which can be repaid over a 20 yr. term. Housing Repair & Rehabilitation Grant: These grants are available to people aged 62 or more. This grant can only be used together with a Repair & Rehabilitation Loan & the lifetime maximum grant amount is $7,500. Mutual Self-Help Loans: This loan program helps low income households build their own houses. Households participating in this program do around 65% of the construction labor on each other's homes. If so how would i be able to apply? I Can't happen to find a form. Now if i'm a family of 6 what category do i fall under: Rural Housing Direct Loan or/ Multi-family? please help.

You can contact the rural housing department and they will be able to let you know how you can apply for the loan. Thanks
