My brother's puchased a home and got a mortage for the home (do not recall name of the orginal lender) but the original lender has sold the mortgage to Option One. and the servcer is American Home Mortgagewho has inflated the escrow and has demanded larger mortgage payments. The trustee is Well's Fargo who has sent a notice of forcloleser but my quistion is

1 The origal mortage company did not sign the mortage paper work.

2 yet this was recorded in the count record's

3 Is their anything that can be done with this mess

4 they have been paying on the mortgage their mortgage years but are now in financial difficult's

5 Is this legal?

if this is, is there any way to find help for this?

Welcome darien,

Your brother should contact an attorney and show all the required documents to him/her. The attorney will check the documents and let your brother know whether or not he can take any legal actions against his lender.
