You may want to consider getting advice from a housing counselor approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. For a listing of HUD-approved housing counseling agencies, call 800.569.4287 toll free, or access HUD Housing Counseling.

The third party company can provide you with loan modification. However, you need to make sure that you compare it to other lenders' loan modification programs and that you can get a better rate and term.
thank you jdufour...another voice in the wilderness calling out to assist the uneducated.
let's all try not to be parroting the information that others provide. it is far better to add something of value rather than simply nod our heads in agreement. if it's a matter of complimenting a prior poster, that's fine. we all need encouragement. but we continue to see post after post using the same language as the previous one. it's needless and unsettling, to say the least.
only the investor behind your loan can modify your loan 3rd parties submit documents and will call for status but do not work out any terms of a modification.
It's depends on the type of loan and the property on which loan has taken. You have to think about all the possible aspect before modification of loan with third party.
