I'm in the process of filing for divorce and I want to purchase my home from my spouse. I'm not on the title and the house is listed on the market as a shortsale. Since the divorce is still pending, will I be able to purchase the home from him?

Welcome Guest,

As the house is listed for a short sale and your name is not on the property deed, I think you would be able to purchase the property. In my opinion, you should have a word with the lender and negotiate for the short sale.
