I have been going bk and forth with the bank for 2 wks now. I got behind on 3 car payments.
The bank said that I could catch the payments up and then when I called to let them know that I had the money, they refused and said I had to pay off the car off.
I got the money to pay off the car and now the bank is saying that they have not processed it yet and that the check had to be verified. They have now had the chk for 4 days and said that they dont have it in THEIR DEPARTMENT and that I didnt follow instructions. They said they told me that I had to send it through Western Union, when that was not the case. They said I had to pay through WU to catch my payments up but did not tell me that to pay the car off.
What do I do? I am not driving the car until the payoff is taken care of.
The people in the repo department are so mean and try to use scare tactics to get to me . I have done everything they have asked but to no avail.
HELP ME.

Hi sherry,

I guess there has been a mis-communication between you and your lender. You can call up the customer care department of your lender and check out what needs to be done as you've already send the check to them. If they do not answer your queries satisfactorily, then you can contact your attorney and let him deal with your lender.

Thanks
