a number was left off of my checking account number. I did'nt i didn't know until 60 day late

Can you explain the situation in a bit detail? You made the payments through your checking account on time, but due to an error in your checking account number the payment could not be made and your lender reported it as late payments, am I right in my assumptions? Have you talked with your lender about this issue?

did you not receive any of the mail that the creditor would have sent? it's odd that you wouldn't know until 60 days late..that means you skipped a payment in addition to having the error happen.
