How can I find out who owns the deed to my home, and if the Bank cannot provide one, then what?

Are you talking about the property deed or the mortgage deed? Whoever is on the title to the home holds the property deed. You can check with the local county recorder's office to get information about the title to the property. As far as mortgage deed is concerned, you need to contact your lender regarding this.
